Legacy Modernization & AWS Cost Audit
Inventory of what you run, what it costs, what breaks next, and a 90-day plan. Previous audits turned into $90K and $100K annual savings.
Scope
Two entry points. The AWS audit covers spend, reliability, and security posture with a prioritized savings plan. The modernization assessment covers your legacy estate (servers, apps, identity, data) and produces a sequenced migration plan with fixed-price options for execution.
$200K+ per year in documented infrastructure savings; 600+ legacy servers mapped; 120+ EOL servers consolidated to under 40.
What’s included
- Read-only access review of your AWS accounts or server estate; nothing changes without approval
- Inventory: every instance, service, license, and dependency, with owner and cost
- Reliability and security findings ranked by blast radius
- Savings plan with dollar estimates and effort for each item
- 90-day sequenced roadmap; fixed-price quotes for the first two phases
- Executive summary suitable for a board, lender, or examiner
- Walkthrough call with your technical and finance leads
Not included
- Implementation (quoted after the audit; 20% of first-year savings or fixed price)
- Application rewrites (the assessment tells you which ones are worth it)
- Non-AWS cloud audits unless scoped (GCP and Azure available on request)
FAQ
Questions buyers ask.
What savings have previous audits produced?
Citrix VDI to AWS AppStream: $145K to $55K per year. Server consolidation and Windows-to-Linux migration: $170K to $70K per year in EC2. Both were led end to end.
Our servers are 15 years of undocumented code. Is that a problem?
That is the normal case. I built a multi-agent documentation platform that mapped 600+ legacy servers, their .NET/ASP applications, database connections, and credentials. The same approach works for your estate.
Do we have to migrate?
No. Sometimes the right answer is to keep a system and document it. The assessment is designed to tell you that honestly.
